9 Brands Boosting the Love This Pride Month

It’s Pride Month! For the party people out there, it’s a time to don your sauciest rainbow outfit, turn the sidewalk into a catwalk and STRUT. But more importantly, it’s a time to be proud, be patient, be kind… but most of all, be yourself.

Handoff is proud to stand alongside the LGBTQIA+ community. If we listed everything we loved about this community, we would probably end up with a novel. So here are three quick ones:

  1. An overwhelmingly beautiful sense of COMMUNITY, built on the common goal of creating equal love for any and everyone of all sexual orientations.

  2. The power of ACCEPTANCE regardless of age, race, gender, ethnicity or sexual orientation. This community understands, and strives to spread, inclusivity.

  3. With a strong sense of community and the power of acceptance… This community knows how to PARTY!

We put together a list of beverage brands who have rebranded, chosen to give back, and have shown continued support for a community that has made the world a far more beautiful place.

Before we get to the goods, here are the organizations these brands have chosen to support with their Pride Month (and beyond) initiatives.

  • GLAAD - (Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation) An organization that works through the media to share stories from the LGBTQIA+ community to accelerate acceptance.

  • The Trevor Project - An American nonprofit organization dedicated to suicide prevention amidst the LGBTQIA+ community.

  • Athlete Ally - An American nonprofit organization aiming to increase LQBTQIA+ inclusion in athletics.

  • Free Mom Hugs - An organization committed to celebrating the LGBTQIA+ community through visibility, education and conversation. And of course, they give hugs ❤️

  • NCTE - (National Center for Transgender Equality) An organization advocating for changes in policy and society to increase understanding and inclusivity of transgender people.

  • The HRC - (The Human Rights Campaign) The nation’s largest LGBTQIA+ political advocacy group.

  • Brave Space Alliance - The first Black-led, trans-led LGBTQIA+ center dedicated to creating culturally competent resources, programming, and services for the LGBTQIA+ community.
